Description

DiscusX Fluke X – For 1300 liters – 20 g with praziquantel is a very effective and safe treatment for gill and skin parasites (gyrodactylus, dactylogyrus etc.) that cause the fish to itch and make them scratch against objects. Also effective against internal worms. This product is pure and only a small amount is needed for effective treatment, therefore it is very economical.

Instructions: Clean aquarium glass, substrate and filter before treatment to reduce the load of organic waste.

Add 1 scoop (included) (1 g) for every 190 liters of water. Treatment should continue for 8 days. Change the water daily between 70-100% and dose again according to the amount of new water you added.

Tips:
1. For an effective treatment, raise the temperature to 28-29 C if your fish species can handle it. This will speed up the Dactylogyrus life cycle to ensure that all life stages of the parasite have reached adulthood and are killed.
2. Added salt (1g per liter) during treatment will improve effectiveness by removing mucus that can protect the parasite from the medication.

Caution: Store in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. For pet fish only, must not be used on fish that are to be

eaten FlukeX does not affect filter bacteria. The treatment should take place in the aquarium with all the fish and with the filter running. If you use the agent in an aquarium without a filter or after using chloramine-T or bactocid (which kills biofilter bacteria), use a water treatment agent that protects against ammonia. It is also recommended to reduce / stop feeding to preserve water quality.
